Happy Cinco de Mayo!

A margarita garnished with a lime wedge sits in front of cut up limes and a plant of a sugar/salt mixture.
 
Here's what you need to make some amazing Margaritas!
 
Ingredients:
 
- 2 oz lime juice
- 1 oz tequila
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz simple syrup (1 c. sugar + 1 c. water boiled)
 
If you want a salt/sugar rim mix:
- 1 tbsp. flakey salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- zest of 1 lime
 
Directions:
 
1.) Bring sugar and water just to a boil, so that the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
2.) In a small dish stir together, flakey salt, sugar and the zest of one lime. This will be out mixture we will dip the rim of our glass in.
3.) Juice about 2 limes, cut some lime wedges for garnish.
4.) Wet the rim of your glass with a lime wedge and dip in your salt/sugar mixture.
5.) Fill the glass with ice, then add the lime juice, tequila, Cointreau and cooled simple syrup.
6.) Stir, garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
