Woohoo! It’s Day 7 of my 12 Days of Christmas Desserts. 7 is a lucky number and it just so happens to be YOUR lucky day, because I’m sharing my Mom’s Chocolate Truffle recipe with you! With her permission of course. These have always been a huge crowd pleaser at any holiday event we bring them to. It’s one of those treats that keeps people coming back for more and then, inevitably, asking for the recipe. They’re always shocked to find out that these truffles are actually super easy to make – as long as you’re willing to get your hands a little dirty.

Three snowman cake pops with top hate made from mini oreos and mini reese's peanut butter cups. They have black pearl sprinkles for "coal" eyes, an orange candy chip for a "carrot" nose and a mouth drawn on with food safe markers. They are also wearing scarves, piped on with melting chocolates and sprinkles.

It’s Day 6 of my 12 Days of Christmas Desserts and I am dishing out yet another cake pop! Can you tell cake pops are sort of my thing? These cake pops are great for a few reasons, they look just like Frosty the Snowman, and it’s an excuse to add some extra nummies to your already delectable cake pop!

A peppermint macaron tower of 4, surrounded by peppermints and their wrappers.

Macarons have gained a lot of popularity in the past few years. My guess is, this is in part due to the tasty treat’s naturally gluten-free composition, and the fact that it is delectably bite-sized. It’s just enough of a dessert to feel indulgent, but not enough to make you feel guilty. Not that you should feel guilty eating dessert - you do you!

Alright… alright, I’ll at least let you finish your pumpkin pie first… Done? Okay great!
